Design
Inspired by the STRIKE and the SWING, the design of the ORIGIN has been optimized to ensure the greatest possible lightness and comfort.
With its staggered seam design, the fabric and assembly work together to maintain a smooth, efficient profile and reduce wing deformation under pressure. This profile control is ideal for ensuring complete stability and comfort throughout your session.
Small radial cuts are implemented at the wingtips and along the back of the center rib to distribute stress. Strategically adjusting the fabric along the areas of greatest load means that elasticity can be controlled at a level never before seen in a wing.
Located at the rear of the central rib, the Charge Diffuser is added, providing Mylar and Dacron reinforcement that will further help maintain the aerodynamic and efficient profile, providing maximum stability, performance, and longevity.
The fabric of the center rib and the two central leading-edge segments on each side of the rib are made of HITEX 158g. This polyester offers high resistance to elongation and, therefore, greater durability and performance. The fabric of the remaining leading-edge segments is made of Dacron 150g to ensure lightness and comfort.
The ORIGIN canopy is made of 52g TECHNOFORCE™/D2, while the trailing edge is made of thicker 66g TECHNOFORCE™/D2, as is the STRIKE. These materials are precisely distributed to account for the varying stresses, high pressures, and weight distribution of each area.
The central rib is straight and of greater volume, which achieves more control when it tends to deform and the possible torsion, thus reducing resistance during navigation.
